STANDARD COURSES

Intensive Spanish (5 or 10 classes)
This course is ideal for people who need to learn Spanish in a short period of time due to a business, meeting a client or having to buy a property between others. The course can be done in one or two weeks and the content of it will depend on your situation.
Spanish Taster course (5 classes)
Available for all levels from Beginner to Superior. This taster course will allow you to decide whether a full course is suitable for you.
Holiday Spanish (10 classes)
No prior knowledge of the language is required. This is the perfect course if a full Beginner course is not for you. This is a fun course course that gives you an introduction to basic language for holiday situations. You will learn how to greet people, order a meal at the restaurant, book accommodation and understand directions given.
Spanish – year 1- Beginner (Nivel Inicial – 30 classes)
This course will build on the 5 units taster course and upon completion, we will send you a colour printed Level 1 Award. You will gain confidence in using basic vocabulary and everyday phrases. You will learn polite conventions, greetings and introductions, how to give and ask directions using an online map, or tell the time and book accommodation.
Spanish – Year 2 – Intermediate (Nivel Intermedio – 30 classes)
This course is for learners who have completed the Beginner course or those who already have some knowledge of Spanish. You will need to be able to use the language for greeting, shopping, eating out, travelling around and giving personal information. The past tense will be introduced to enable you to role-play about daily routines, hobbies, house and home. You will have online access to short letters, postcards and messages that we’ll analize and rewrite. On completion, we will send you a full PrivateSpanishTutor Level One certificate.
Spanish – Year 3 – Advanced (Nivel Avanzado – 30 classes)
This course is for learners who have completed two previous years of study or are confident in using basic language when talking about yourself, shopping, eating out, travelling around, daily routines, hobbies, house and home, etc. The future tense will be introduced. Greater accuracy, fluency and confidence will be achieved with the emphasis on improving your speaking and reading skills. We’ll use up-to-date material from newspaper and magazines in Spanish. On completion, we will send you a full PrivateSpanishTutor Level Two certificate.
Spanish – Year 4 – Superior (Nivel Superior – 30 classes)
Learners need to have completed three previous years of study or be confident in using present, past and future tenses in simple terms to talk about a variety of online situations given. The emphasis is on improving listening and writing skills. We’ll listen to multiple people recording, discussion in a formal way using a pre-selected subject as support, using up-to-date material from newspaper and magazines in Spanish. Grammar will be extended to form longer and more complex sentences. On completion, we will send you a full Level Three PrivateSpanishTutor certificate.
SPANISH CONVERSATION COURSES
(We’ll use as much Spanish as possible guaranteed)

Spanish for Travelling (10 to 20 classes recommended)
This course emphasizes on real everyday situations. Role-plays on the plane, at the restaurant, in the hotel… will be rehearsed. Learners need to be confident in using basic language when talking about yourself, shopping, eating out, travelling around, daily routines, hobbies, etc. The present, past and future tense will be introduced. Greater accuracy, fluency and confidence will be achieved with the emphasis on improving your speaking skills. Brilliant course if you want to give your Spanish speaking skills the wow! factor.
Communication Course (10 to 20 classes recommended)
This course is for those who already have a reasonable knowledge of Spanish and want to improve their communication skills. Students will further their knowledge of Spanish through discussion in an informal and friendly way using a pre-selected theme as support, using up-to-date clippings from newspapers and magazines in Spanish. Homework can be submitted (reading and analysing material for later discussion) but it’s not compulsory.
BUSINESS COURSES

Business Spanish ( 10 to 20 classes recommended)
These courses are for companies or individuals who need to improve their Spanish for business and are available for all levels from beginner to superior. Students will further their knowledge of Spanish through discussion in a formal way using formal vocab, technical words, writing legal letters, listening to multiple people recordings, and using up-to-date material from newspaper and magazine clippings in Spanish.
D.E.L.E. EXAM PREPARATION

Spanish D.E.L.E.
DELE (Diploma de Español como lengua extranjera) is the official test in Spain for students of Spanish as a foreign language (must be citizens older than 16, from countries where Spanish is not the official language).

The Instituto Cervantes is the only institution in charge of organizing the tests but exams can be taken either in Spain or abroad (United Kingdom (London), United States (Albuquerque) among others – contact us for more details).
Examination dates are usually in May, August and November.
There are only three levels:
Nivel Inicial (Basic grammar knowledge and communication skills in a given situation)
Nivel Intermedio (Good grammar Knowledge and communication skills in everyday situations)
Nivel Superior (Advanced grammar and communication skills are required to pass with full understanding of the Spanish culture.)
